God answers all your prayers. He Really Does !

When we pray, we expect God to hear us.  Otherwise, what would be the point of praying.   If he hears us, then we expect an answer .. mostly we want to hear from God right now !  We are impatient by nature and have no tolerance for long suffering.     We become faithless pretty quickly when we do not get what we pray for.

God help us to not be so short sighted!!

God Hears ALL prayer and answers all of them according to his good pleasure.   God answers some prayers immediately, some eventually, and some only in eternity.   “By his stripes we are healed”  is one of most often quoted verses in the bible.  I believe it too !  I also know that the healing may or may not be in this life.  I know this for sure:  One day very soon, Jesus will return in the air and I’ll be caught up with him and all the saints in an incorruptible new body free of all illness, pain and corruption.

I declare to you, brothers, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. 51Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed— 52in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. 53For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality. 54When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: “Death has been swallowed up in victory.”  (1 Corinthians 15:50-54)
“God will supply all your needs according to his riches in Glory” is another often quoted verse.  All my needs ?  Really ? Why then doesn’t God give me that new car I’ve been praying for ?  A bigger house ? New furniture ?   I think it’s obvious that such things might not be included on the “Needs” list.  But what if God does give those things to some people ?  Why not me ?  Well, I think this verse is the best for that purpose ..

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”  (Matthew 6:33)

Now I will tell you that there is a lot of content in this short verse and we could spend hours studying “Kingdom of God” and “His righteousness” and “these things”.  But you and I  can absolutely rely on one thing.    God will be “on board” in your life if we make him first in ours.   Blessings from God are his pleasure to his children.    Believing that takes faith.  Despite circumstances.  Despite what anyone tells you to the contrary.  God IS able.   Devote yourself to seeking his kingdom and all that CAN be SHALL be.

Meditate and believe on this and you will find peace.

The Lord upholds all who are falling and raises up all who are bowed down. The eyes of all look to you, and you give them their food in due season.
You open your hand; you satisfy the desire of every living thing.
Psalm 145:14-16
